A range of services in a child-friendly environment
The highly skilled pediatric staff at San Ramon Regional Medical Center provides quality medical services in a nurturing, family-friendly environment when you need to take your child to the hospital.
Pediatricians from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, Oakland are on-site at San Ramon Regional Medical Center and attend newborn deliveries, assist in Emergency Department, treat and monitor new infants, and care for newborn infants and children
through 17 years of age in the hospital.
Our experienced nurses have received training in pediatrics and provide bedside care throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department. Our team also includes respiratory therapists, who have special training in pediatrics and are available
every day, around the clock.
Your child will receive professional care from pediatric-trained nurses who focus on his or her health needs. Our in-hospital pediatrician can work with your pediatrician or surgeon to monitor your child’s condition throughout the hospital stay.
San Ramon Regional Medical Center welcomes parents to spend the night with their children in the hospital. We provide chairs that unfold into beds, and when possible we try to provide your child a private room. Our menu is child-friendly. The in-hospital
pediatrician and the pediatric nurse coordinator are available to answer your questions every day, around the clock.

San Ramon Regional Medical Center has pediatric physical therapists, speech therapists and occupational therapists on staff. We offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services.

Outpatient surgery center
Children are welcome at the Outpatient Surgery Center located conveniently on our hospital campus. Many surgeons who sub-specialize in pediatrics use this comfortable and convenient surgery center. The surgery nurses and
anesthesiologists are experienced in the special needs of children and work hard to provide a comforting and reassuring environment. The surgery center has a private recovery room, which allows you be with your child when she or he wakes up from anesthesia.
