Infusion Center

IV treatments administered in our outpatient infusion center

Our healthcare team is committed to making your experience as pleasant and satisfying as possible. At the Outpatient Infusion Center at San Ramon Regional Medical Center, we specialize in intravenous (IV) treatments. We offer:

  • Personalized care, in comfortable private rooms, where family members are welcome
  • Registered oncology nurses, who are specially trained to perform a wide variety of infusion procedures
  • Highly skilled, compassionate and caring staff

We work as a team with you and your physician to meet your special needs, ensuring that you feel well informed about your care. Every effort is made to ensure that your infusion is performed in a timely fashion, and we work with you to make sure you are comfortable and your pain is being managed.

Many people can benefit from our outpatient IV treatments, including patients with the following:

  • Infectious disease
  • Digestive disorders
  • Cancer
  • Dehydration and hyperemesis
  • Intractable pain
  • Post-surgical needs
  • Immune system disorders
  • Blood disorders
  • Neurological disorders

Currently we offer these infusion treatments:

  • Outpatient chemotherapy and patient education
  • Inflectra for Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis
  • Solumedrol
  • Iron/Ferrlecit treatments
  • Transfusions of blood products
  • IV antibiotic therapy
  • IV hydration for OB patients with nausea and vomiting or any patient requiring hydration
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy
  • Central line catheter care
  • Injections of antibiotics and colony stimulating factors such as Granix, Epogen, Bisphophonates, Lupron
  • Timed endocrine testing, i.e., Cortrosyn Stimulation Testing
  • IV immune globulin
  • Pain Management
