Let our team of specialists take care of you

You will be in the hands of a dedicated team of specialists who provide compassionate, high-quality care. Our radiologists are board-certified with advanced training in breast imaging and are available for consultations. The nurse navigator provides education and support and is actively involved in the diagnostic process. Our technologists are certified in mammography and patient focused in their approach.

Our diagnostic services include

Digital mammography

Our HOLOGIC Digital Mammography units are low-dose and have high-resolution work stations with computer-aided detection (CAD). CAD analyzes mammographic images for suspicious areas and is designed to increase the accuracy of interpretation.

Screening mammogram

This test screens for breast cancer in asymptomatic women. It usually involves two X-rays of each breast.

Diagnostic mammogram

This is test for patients with lumps, pain, nipple thickening or discharge, or a change in breast size or shape.

Breast ultrasound

Breast ultrasound uses sound waves, not radiation, to assess the breast. It is commonly performed to determine if an abnormality detected by mammography or a palpable lump is fluid-filled (cyst) or a solid mass.

Breast biopsy

A biopsy is a procedure to remove samples of breast tissue for examination by a pathologist under a microscope.

Stereotactic biopsy

A biopsy that utilizes small X-rays to help guide the removal of calcifications.

Ultrasound-guided biopsy

A biopsy procedure that uses sound waves to guide the needle placement for the biopsy of a breast mass.

Ductography

A special injection of X-ray dye into a breast to evaluate the duct.

Wire localization for excisional biopsy

A technique that is used to mark the location of a breast abnormality for the surgeon prior to excision. The surgeon uses the wire as a guide to the tissue that needs to be removed.
