From all of us at San Ramon Regional Medical Center, Congratulations to the Class of 2020! You have worked hard to reach this moment. As you move forward, embrace life with passion and keep reaching for the stars. The sky is the limit. Spread your wings and continue to soar. You should be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far. This is only the beginning. Congratulations!

Here are words of encouragement and well wishes from some of our team members.

There is an old saying that goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Class of 2020, your greatest achievements will be possible when you work together. It may be tempting to try to do everything on your own, but you will discover that you can accomplish so much more – and what you do will be so much more meaningful – when you are part of a great team. I hope that you find wonderful collaborators in every stage of your life and that you apply your incredible talents and endless energy to do good in the world.
Ann Lucena – Chief Executive Officer

I'd like to offer my congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Please note that this too will pass. I encourage you to look forward to a bright future! Philippians 4:6-7
Warmly,
Louis Ivey, MD - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Advanced Wound Care

Congratulations for getting through this very important phase of your education during these difficult times. You live in a country of great opportunities. Focus on what you want to be and work hard to get there. I immigrated to this country after graduating from high school with a focus to be a doctor. At that time I had nothing, but I am now in charge of my hospital’s ICU.
Michael Kazemi, MD – Medical Director, Critical Care

Congratulations to the Class of 2020! Be proud of your accomplishments for it is only the beginning. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. Be bold, be courageous, be your best!
Aileen Murphy, DO – General and Bariatric Surgery

Dear Class of 2020, our entire community is so proud of you. This is nothing like what you or your family have ever imagined. Life is not always fair, but as you all can see, we need your innovation and creativity, and the world needs more helpers, now more than ever. Congratulations to all of you and go make this world and the entire humanity better.
Fadel Shammout, MD, MBA - General Obstetrics and Gynecology

The second semester for the Class of 2020 has been one for the history books, for sure. This class has missed out on traditional final year events, ceremonies and celebrations. My hope and prayer is that, rather than focusing on the loss, the Class of 2020 will be strengthened by the many innovations of which they have been a part and the heart-felt well wishes of many, my family and myself included, for their ongoing success! They have weathered some unique and profound challenges and emerged as the graduates they deserve to be!
Joseph Toscano, MD – Chief, Emergency Medicine

Congratulations, Class of 2020! Always stand up for what is right. Always remember that you can't fail if you see "failures" as opportunities to grow, learn and improve. Always be kind. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!
Pam Yoo – Chief Strategy Officer
