He believes in empowering women at all stages of their life with evidence-based medicine to help them make the right decision at the right time. As a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he has received top honors and awards over his 10 years of service. Besides his extraordinary bedside manner Dr. Shammout is always willing to ho far and beyond to take care of his patients.Outside the office, Dr. Shammout enjoys spending time with his family in beautiful San Ramon and the surrounding Bay Area. I love that this practice is not super busy and I can get appointments soon and I can see my wonderful doctor when I need him. Joel ,the office manager did his magic and got my insurance approval in less than 48 hours! Dr Shammout considers quality of his practice and the health of his patients over quantities of patients. The reasons that I became his patient is become my previous doctor didn't have time for me when I needed an appointment but there was a big sign at the reception desk stating "accepting new patients".

I was truly blown away by the wonderful treatment I receive from the staff on 04/16/24. I was treated very kindly with respect and dignity, not having to be concerned about my differences (a senior, over-weight Black woman in a wheelchair whose portal registration was incomplete) Thank you all for your patience and kindness. Originally, I only wanted a woman Dr bcs I felt she would be able to emphasize with my concerns: but Dr Shammut is a very good Dr and he showed concern for my issue. Thank you for a good visit.

Having the Online registration option is great. There were no delays once I got to the office. The whole visit was fast without being rushed. I felt there was plenty of time to get all my questions answered and for a brief conversation with the doctor. As a bonus, I even got a flu shot which hadn't been on the agenda until I saw the sign in the registration/waiting room!

Both the nurse/assistant and the doctor had great eye contact and were very attentive during my visit. The doctor communicated every step of my exam during the exam and that always helps with the "what am I about to experience next" feeling. I felt totally taken care of the entire time!

Where to even begin, Dr. Shammout is honestly the BEST provider I have EVER encountered with. He genuinely cares about your concerns and overall health. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Shammout. He is warm and supportive. He was easy to talk to, and made me feel comfortable throughout my exam and in our conversation. He was thorough and explanatory; sometimes answering questions before I asked them. The thing that really impressed me was him advising it would not be unusual to get a call back for more imaging after a mammogram (given it will be my first one); alleviating any fear or anxiety that could cause. An incredible physician who shows care and concern for his patients. I move every few years for work, and establishing care with new physicians is always the hardest part of relocating. I was incredibly fortunate to find him. I feel comforted knowing he will be my physician, and my treatment needs will be appropriately addressed.

My Doctor was awesome! He made me feel safe and calmed my nerves down immediately after meeting him. I could tell from our conversation upon meeting that he was more than qualified to take me on as a patient and he handled the procedure like a champ!! He was patient with me, even after I fainted (no fault of his- I have a tendency to do that). The healing process following my procedure was completely painless- not even a bruise! As long as he is practicing women's health, I plan to be a patient of his.
