About San Ramon

San Ramon Regional Medical Center has proudly served the Tri-Valley and its surrounding communities for more than three decades. We opened our doors on Feb. 14, 1990. Since then, we have expanded our services, upgraded our technology and increased our medical staff – all in an effort to provide patients with a high quality, boutique hospital experience.

Located on a scenic hillside overlooking the San Ramon Valley, we are a 123-bed acute care hospital known for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and emergency care. Our Family Birthing Center includes a Level II Special Care Nursery, as well as 24/7 pediatric services. We offer a wide array of therapy services, cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient cardiology services, a pulmonary function test lab, and comprehensive outpatient lab services. 3D mammography is offered in our Breast Center as well as a full suite of imaging modalities in our Radiology Department and at Pleasanton Diagnostic Imaging. We also work closely with our partners at Hacienda Surgery Center and Tresanti Surgery Center.

San Ramon Regional Medical Center has built a strong reputation for being a destination for surgical services. We offer excellent joint and spine surgery services including advanced, robotically-assisted and minimally-invasive techniques. We became the first in the Bay Area to purchase the ExcelsiusGPS® system to offer robotic-assisted spine surgery. Always embracing cutting-edge technology and robotics, we utilize our da Vinci Xi Surgical System for minimally-invasive surgeries and the Mako System for advanced joint replacements. We offer a blood conservation program, unique to the region, and we have a life-saving partnership with Donor Network West.
