Dedicated, effective volunteers are an integral part of our team at San Ramon Regional Medical Center. In return for your four-hour weekly volunteer commitment, you receive training, support, a complimentary meal, and the satisfaction of knowing you make a difference.
Current Volunteer Positions
We are currently looking for volunteers to work on the weekends in our Personal Touch and Hospitality programs. Personal Touch provides warm wash clothes to patients in the mornings, and Hospitality distributes reading materials, games, and other entertainment to the patients.
We have volunteers placed in these areas:
- Information Desk
- Gift Shop
- Nursing Unit
- Outpatient Surgery
- Emergency Department
- Surgery Waiting Room
- Pharmacy
- Physical Therapy
- Clerical Positions
- Menu Assistant
Junior Volunteers
San Ramon Regional Medical Center is very pleased to have the assistance of our Junior (student) Volunteers. Students are eligible to volunteer after completing the first semester of high school. The Career Counselors at the local high schools select the volunteers at the end of the school year. We recommend that students contact their school representatives in the Career Center.
